I have a desktop and a laptop. Windows 10 and Windows 11.
In the last month or so every time I click on anything it takes me to a new window with some ad in it. I have to x out of that page then find the page I was on and click back into it. For instance if I click on a thread in DU a new window opens with some shopping page. I x out of that and have to scroll past any other windows I have open to find DU, open it and click the link again.
Doesn't happen on my chromebook.
Is this an upgrade or is it part of google or chrome settings? How do I fix this?

scan with SuperAntiSpyware and that got rid of it. You could also try downloading the trial version of Malwarebytes, that's good too.
