Not saying that for a fact, but it's a busy time of year, the major internet pipelines are overloaded and unfortunately things just slow down because of the heavy internet traffic. Not much you can do about it.

But I have a fiber connection, not a TV cable. Using Firefox here, and streaming 4k YouTube shows.

Ffox is slow to start for me in the morning. And slow at peak periods. And the pc waits for ffox to do its shutdown at night.

I've tried google chromium. Good but eventually it follows you everywhere. I like vivaldi, it loads faster, but it's complicated to run.

I hope to greatly reduce my online time, and just use public access at some ooint. Library wifi is 20 times faster than home access. and the cost of home keeps going up. They say i should try Cable access. It is supposedly faster than library. But the hassle to set it up. No tech support from Cable Company. buy your own router.
