somehow, overnight, this. Edge not loading on laptop.

Was fine last evening....left it on as I usually do. This morning, edge won't come up. (I'm on the spare laptop now, but all my data is on the one not loading edge)

1. Stuck in standby?

Try restart. If all else fails remove battery to shut it down.

2. What version are you running? Some fell off support a while ago.

3. Hopefully the simple reboot works suggested by the other DU person.

Otherwise, your data is still there so you may need to work with someone on Data Recovery to pull it onto another drive.

IF you are on an Edge version that can be updated to one of those they support, that might help, but you want someone who can work to get your data before any massive rebuild. The rebuild would be mostly so you could continue to use that laptop with Edge.

If you can get it going, do a backup somewhere so you have the data in a safe place and maybe a second format so you don't run into this again. On a cloud server for instance where it's pure data that can be downloaded on various platforms.

4. Something happened to my DU page, too, last week.

I’ve re booted, checked my settings and finally got on Duck Duck Go..still can’t get everything. It only affected DU site

6. I left it alone for several days. And it miraculously cured itself.

All fine now, just as before.

No clue why.
