"Night Mode" doesn't function properly on DU.

When I logged on this morning, I thought DU had been hacked. All of a sudden, the text became unreadable and I couldn't access anything on any forum.

I had been running Night Mode since DU4 came out, and after a bit of probing, found out that the problem was that the text had somehow changed to black, leaving all the text invisible against the black background.

I've switched back to Default Mode and everything works fine, but I prefer Dark Mode and hope someone can address this issue.

Intermittently early on but yesterday All the text would disappear after the page loaded. So I went looking for the problem.

I started using a dark reader extension for Firefox and found that it will work against the dark reader code that DU has. So I turned off the dark mode on DU and use the extension and that works even better than what I was seeing with both turned on.

That was my fix but Depending on which browser you use, could be a bit different.

Dark reader extension link (you might be able to navigate to one for whatever browser you use if you're not using Firefox.)

I checked my phone in case it was my PC at fault, but the same problem occurred.

I don't browse the web on my phone at all so I don't know about the phone stuff.

I guess it's the dark mode on DU then. I haven't had issues since I turned it off so you may well have identified where it is.

Waiting to see what answers come up.
