The image in the thread has a crazy URL that baffles me.
So, clicking on the image brings up a window with a close box.
Now, THAT image URL is also a baffler that nobody can use.

I right clicked (control click on a mac) to "Save Image as ... " and it saved the image to my computer.
as a REAL JPEG/
From there, you can upload (sorry to say) to some image hosting site.

Programmers at FB/Meta and others are paid handsomely to make things AS COMPLEX AS POSSIBLE.

So, I would suggest saving the image and then uploading it to an image hosting site.
Some sites are so impossible to even save the image (on purpose, I think) that I'll screenshot the image and do as I mentioned above. Upload to an image host that gives a clean URL that DU and others can handle rationally.

This is all that I could come up with.

So, one image I saw. I clicked on, then right/control clicked to save to disk

and upload and link.

Note: since FB and Threads are one, shouldn't there be some way to do this more simply?
But you'd have to ask people there or experts at them.

Most web pages nowadays are larger than entire video games used to be.

I want to say "complexity bias" but I guess a lot has to do with the "stack" and "web frameworks" that are adopted there, and I'll bet that they are unique to each outfit, unlike something well-known like Ruby On Rails. (or other known quantity)

Needless to say, nobody consults the end-user.
