el capitan bug

so, when i upgraded, adobe bridge couldnt find my phone. i did use image capture once. but now not only does that not work, but iphoto cant even find my iphone.

i have a new phone in a box here that i was gonna send back. (lost mine, then found it). i suppose if i fire it up it will be all good. but i hate to stoop that low.

i have to delete some files, as i have maxed out the photo storage, and having a devil of a time figuring out how to do it. doesnt seem to allow the full photo roll to go to trash.
cant figure out how to upload the few files i need off the phone to the cloud, as i am over the free limit and dont want to pay. dont need the full storage, but it seems to only be able to see the full camera roll, not the album.

grrrrr. not in the proper frame of mind to persevere here.

1. el captain issus too

meh! i am having LOADS of problems after upgrading from Yoesmite to El captain... to be fair I had a fari few problems with yoesmite!

My problem is I was not really supposed to upgrade as I have a old mac ... but I upgraded as I was not keen on yoesmite... now my computer is really slow... Iphone will NOT link up whatso ever..

Also having problems with my camera and Iphoto... jokes... spent ages trying to suss it out... wouldnt upload -then it said complete... and seemed fine...turned computer off laters and then on the next day ....no photos... fuming!!

itunes is also been playing up... well at least wont connect to my phone either

2. I can't restart or shut down, and I just upgraded to 10.11.6

Have to perform a hard shutdown. I'm guessing it's a software conflict since restart works fine from a Safe Mode boot. I wasted an hour getting that far today. Pain in the butt.
