Apple Users
Related: About this forumEvery time I visit DU on my iphone I get Phished w/ "You have a virus! Click to solve" from "Apple"
so I called Mac help and explained what was happening and asked what they would recommend.
Mac help says that the update, which I have put off having heard it slows everything down, should solve that. So I finally bit the bullet and am downloading the update now. I was running 10.3
Also I learned that Mac now recommends users install Malwarebytes from Malwarebytes.org.
I sure hope I don't regret this update!
She also suggested that I let DU know that there's a Phishing attempt placed on the website.
I'm going to do that now.
Good luck out there good people, aloha.

BTW, I have used the paid malwarebytes premium product on my PCs for years. I can't say enough about it. Very good product.
