Email issues when sending to out of US recipients.

I'm on a MacBook Air 13" early 2016 - Sierra 10.12.6
When sending emails, using MacMail, from my own domain name or from my iCloud address, recipients in France or England often don't get the email, even when I reply directly to their message. This happens when I'm in the US and when I'm in France. I don't have, nor want, a Gmail account and Yahoo is definitely out.
Any suggestions?
SMTP settings are correct and I've had recipients check their junk/spam folders and the emails don't show up there.

If so, do you have multiple secondary dns setup outside the us? It helps.

If you're not running your own server, make sure your dns has enough secondary support.

Could also be a number of other things.
