Hackers got me. Went out and bought a hard wired key board and plugged in my printer direct.

(34,069 posts)2. Started to slow down with
lots of beach balls. Then my scrolling went crazy, rolling down without touching it. Googled it and tried turning off Bluetooth and back to normal. Key board was my only need for it, so bought a $19 hard connected one.

directly wired to the cable modem?
If so you need to get a wireless router.
You also need to have antivirus-antimalware software on your Mac.
Yes, they can get infected.
