Anyone here tried Firefox 67.0?

It automatically downloaded this afternoon, and all my bookmarks and other settings were gone. Found an older version from the Fall of 2018 (64.0) I had saved on a flash drive, so I'm using that and Safari until I can figure out what's happened with the latest update. Any ideas would be helpful.

over about the past dozen updates with some content not rendering at all. I keep EDGE on my laptop for that purpose, though I don't really like it. Chrome is ok, but staying away from more Google crap, given their lack of regard for privacy.

decide when or if it should be updated. I don't do auto updates of anything for that matter but FF is locked solid. I've had issues in the past where they've removed things I didn't want removed.

Edit: I just noticed this is Apple users group. I don’t know if you can do that with apple. I'm Linux here. Apple and Linux are basically the same system wise so I'd imagine you can.

6. I imported bookmarks from Safari and got most of the old ones on 67.0

I also went into preferences and put an end to Firefox automatic updates. They also ruined add-ons, themes, extensions and some other features. Will probably still use the older Firefox until they get this mess sorted out.

all her history is gone, pinned tabs, a few other things.

I hate when FF does that. I have reset to ASK me before you update.

I had a nice, lazy Saturday afternoon going watching baseball, and freaking Mozilla ruins the day.

I have had some serious meltdowns since I got online in 1993, using AOL as the gateway, and enduring all the browser mishaps that disappeared important places that I went.

Just as I finally get 67.0 update working decent, they come out with a new one. Think I will put updating off a couple weeks until there is some feedback.
