Related: About this forumDU site/Safari Browser issue on iPhone iOS
I have noticed that beginning this week, some of the DU control buttons no longer function on my mobile device using Safari (iPhone X, latest iOS). Specifically Rec, bookmark and certain DU specific links e.g. searching users for Inmail. When any of these buttons are "pressed" it acts as a home button of sorts and takes me to the top of whatever page or thread I am on.
I'm not sure if it is an HTML5 thing w the site or what, but I have zero issues on any other webpage.
I tried clearing the cache and no luck. If I use the Google App for search and browse on my phone these buttons work fine - leading me to believe that it's a Safari for mobile iOS or a DU site problem.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

(22,550 posts)It's been fixed, but some people are still experiencing the issue because their browser has cached a few Javascript files that weren't working properly. If you cleared the cache though, that should have worked...
These are the files in question -- if you can open them up and do a hard refresh, your device should fetch the correct versions from our server and that should solve the problem.

(10,494 posts)Really appreciate that help.
The fix was a few days ago but a some people have continued to report that it has persisted due to caching, so you're not alone.
Now we're just working on fixing a new issue which has cropped up today...

(52,312 posts)Earl worked with me for hours and I appreciate it, especially since I am limited in tech skills. It happened with my Samsung Galaxy tablet. Eventually it corrected itself as Earl suggested it would after lots of problem solving.
