Among its many virtues, you can change a key usually.

Heavy users should definitely get KM or something similar.

On browsers, Chrome, Firefox, Safari. Using the Command key with the left or right bracket will get you to moe forward or backward one web page at a time. The bracket keys are just to the right of the letter 'P'. Always use the lower case.

On browsers that are playing videos, some let you use Command-Arrow Left or right to move 10 secs in either direction.

In System Prefs, the Keyboard section should give you a good list to default keystrokes for moving around, forward backward, up or down...although I've never figured out how to 'up' a web page.
