Latest iPhone update (15.3, 2/1/22)

I'd been having some problems with my iPhone 7 for the last few days. It came to a head yesterday (2/1) when it kept dropping the internet and not allowing me to send messages with attachments. I finally thought to check for an update and, voila!, there was one (15.3) I hadn't grabbed even though I have automatic updates. It took me a while (over an hour, I think) to get it installed, which was unusually long, but everything is running smoothly again. Just an alert, though, that if your phone is acting funny it may be looking for that update. This doesn't usually happen, but it did this time.

1. I'm having the same problem with sending messages with attachments.

My phone is set to automatically update, but it didn't install the latest one. Had to do it manually. I thought I was going to have to take the phone in for repairs. Thanks for the info!

2. Yeah, you did what I did.

I think it took a little longer than normal to get the update (it originally told me eight hours to download, but then shortened it) and seemed to take longer than usual to install. But once it did everything seems to be working fine. And glad to help.

Despite being a .3, there are major changes.
