my iOS 15.6.1 upgrade experience

1. Download on my friends’ high speed internet of nearly 3 gb was about 20 minutes. Note: I am overseas.

2. An additional 30-40 minutes for “preparing” and installing

3. Safari multi tab is new. I turned it off in Settings

4. Control center got lost. Mucking around in Settings in several places— no effect. A full power down reboot did the trick.

5. Minor color changes in Safari.

6. Apple is pushing Apple Cash. Pushing. I’d rather get a speeding ticket.

the same. It’s just a tool. I hate updates but I hate major system changes even more, so I take the little changes as they come and deal.

FYI- my wife’s 6sPlus took a loooong time to install the latest software but my personal XR only took a little longer than any other update.

Hope this helps

most things are no change or modest improvements
compared to ios 14.

Safari has significant changes. only took 15 years to implement some features.

Apple Cash pushing is a disgrace.
