How would Lacy Clay(R-MO) do statewide in the Democratic primary and the November General Election?

Clay lost re-election in 2020 for his US House seat(Safe Democratic) in the Democratic Primary to Cori Bush by a narrow margin. Bush who is well liked among progressives is not going to leave the US House after 1 term.
