OH other US Senator Sherrod Brown-D won in 2006(midterm election year during the Bush43 presidency-R), 2012(Presidential Election Year- outperformed Obama-D) and 2018(midterm election year during the Trump presidency-R). Because OH has a Democratic US Senator, it is more likely that they will elect a Republican to the US Senate.
