The only unifying **principle** of the Republican Party is gaining and holding political power, while serving the interests of their corporate masters.

Nevertheless, that's a pretty good zinger by the Prez.

That quote should be made into a poster and backdrop and whenever a democrat speaks on the floor of the senate, house, town halls, press conferences, anywhere and everywhere that they talk to a group.

Also, make one showing all the jobs bills that rethugs have written and/or passed.

The number of times they've voted to repeal ObamaCare.

Or how they are still trying to defund Acorn.

How many bills they've written to cut food stamps.

etc., etc, and of course...etc.

There's so much material to work with. They need to pick a few of the worst, or best(?) and rotate them out at each venue.

The assholes of the Grand Obstructionist Party seem to have no problem pointing out and harping on every little thing, whether it's true or not, or even factual, that President Obama or any other democrat does or says.

Being nice and bending over after getting kicked and saying 'Thank you sir, may I have another?' clearly isn't working.

I'm glad to see a few dems that are starting to stand up to them and it's good to see President Obama get a lick in but it's time to be more...'In your face' I guess is the expression that I'm looking for.

The other side seems to have no problem with that concept.

I had to see my doctor the other day, and while doing the pre-exam workup her nurse confided to me that she's worried about what this state will do not only to lessen the effects of the ACA but to block it entirely. Like her, anyone with a family member who has a pre-existing condition for which they cannot get health insurance should be able to see what outright criminals make up the GOP.

Imagine, a nurse working for a doctor at a hospital and still not being able to get health insurance!
