Just another game of Three Dimensional Chess for The Man.

He never ceases to amaze me. I was watching Rachel Friday night when it hit me just what he was doing. He wanted diplomacy the whole time...he just knew if he went with it, the Repugs would howl. Their knee jerk reaction has always been to disagree with whatever it was he wanted. So rattle some sabers, and they demand to be involved in the decision. OK, here, you guys decide. From that point on, it was drop mike, walk off stage. And I don't believe for a second that John Kerry's comments weren't WELL thought out.

And, of course, great address. Watching the commentary now. Andrea Mitchell always seems to find something to bitch about, doesn't she?

I agree.

He proposed at first largely what a RW hawk would propose and they all scrambled to criticize it one way or another.

He rope-a-doped them from the outset, and Putin, too.

Maybe that's ONE reason she's always so bitchy? Both of them are (Ayn) Randians anyway.

son was saying last night in reference to what the President needs to keep doing right now to get this diplomacy process wrapped up.

Hopefully, Putin and Assad will come through

I don't believe that Kerry's words were an "accident" either. how ridiculous.

he certainly has it now. and putin as well. president barack hussein obama is going to keep this up until every stipulation of the negotiations is carried out by assad - right down to turning over all of the chemical weapons and the assad signature and actions demonstrating his agreement to never again use chemical weapons.

as for the congress, a little reverse psychology can go a long way with stubborn, headstrong narcissistic bullies - and 3 year olds.

In this case, and a couple other cases I can think of (think: offering the CCPI to prove gop unseriousness in budget negotiations/governance), are the internet left.
