GD seems to have warped into bizarro world, where they bash our president Barack Obama but praise Vladimir Putin. Thank goodness we can come here for solace.

Yeah, that's too bad about the Russian dictator who thinks being Gay is contagious. Who the hell would want him as a hero? they need to ask Pussy Riot and Alexei Navalny about their new best friend Putin. Stupid bizarro world alright.

I got a Newsflash for them.. they never had it. It's always been the profiteering left.

But, the writers who have been into the facts and reality with indepth analysis are still right here doing their thing. Steve Benen, Michael Tomasky, Jason Easley, Bob Cesca, EJ Dionne.. to name a few.

I read the same stuff in GD that I hear on the radio. I hope republicans do something real stupid soon so we will have a common enemy.
I never thought I'd say it but, I miss the tea party. That was an enemy we could all bash with zeal.

We want this Group to be about the President and his policies and not turn into a group that complains about other forums in DU.

For that reason I hope that you will post here often.

Regarding the other forums/groups; If you see something you disagree with then marshal your facts and using the same persistent optimism and good will the President demonstrates enter the fray. If you don't have the time or energy then give it a pass and understand you can come here and avoid the nihilism, pessimism and acerbity that is commonly found there.
