This is how pragmatism wins...

...it works!!!!

Power games don't work because in order to attack pragmatic solutions, they have to be based on lies. Dogmatic idealism doesn't work because it is never achievable.

President Obama has succeeded because his North Star has always been to fight for policies that work for the American people. Sometimes you have to keep your eye on the long game in order to see that. But for those of us who have consistently been able to do that - this is ONE SWEET DAY!!!!

Thank you!

So true every word.. but, it's the hard way.. keeping your eye on the long game and working towards it no matter the set backs. instead of just sitting back and complaining that it isn't PERFECT.

It was ALL for this day..

The proof of the pudding will be if the ACA can reduce out-of-pocket medical expenses and medical bankruptcies. We won't really know that for a few years, after we've seen it work for a while.

So many years. Healthcare in other countries has worked well for several years and when you look at the fact we are double the cost here. The lies of how bad healthcare in other countries is a good RW talking point. There are not any death panels except for the states where an exchange was not set up. I may be wrong but I think there will be lower premiums in the coming years.

I am so grateful President and all of the contributors worked so hard on the ACA, Obama really cares.
