I loved it when Michelle said how much she admires Jane Fonda.

I went back and looked at all the freakouts and over-reactions on the RW websites! What a bunch of tight-asses! Check it out if you want a laugh!

I love Michelle and Jane.

Michelle's quote - &quot And) there's Jane Fonda, a beautiful, engaged, politically savvy, sharp woman."

And here's the typically pathetic freakout from Faux News (LOL!) -

"MRS. OBAMA: "I just went to see Cicely Tyson on Broadway. She is in her 80s and did a two-hour play with stamina and passion. I told her, 'I want to be you when I grow up!' [And] there's Jane Fonda, a beautiful, engaged, politically savvy, sharp woman."

Jane Fonda Calls Vietnam Photo 'An Unforgivable Mistake' (VIDEO)

"That Vietnam photograph has followed Fonda ever since -- and she has apologized for it publicly and privately many times over. In this clip from an episode of "Oprah's Master Class," she does so once again, calling her appearance in the photo "an unforgivable mistake" and sharing the details of how the photograph happened in the first place."

Jane has apologized many times but of course the rw use it as lightening rod. I believe in redemption.. the bagger types believe in for themselves but no one else. If a rw truly has redemption I would forgive too.. it's just that too many go right back to what they were doing in the first place.

Michelle knows that Jane Fonda is a right wing lightening rod and she said it anyway. Good for her! As far as I am concerned, Jane Fonda was a very young person doing everything in her power as a celebrity to end an ILLEGAL, IMMORAL and RACIST war. She has apologized for that incident time and time again. She risked her popularity and career to speak out for peace. I admire that. She continues to be a voice for peace and women's rights to this day.

Right On, Jane and Right On, Michelle!

And yes, she looks absolutely fantastic!

She is one of my favorite actresses. And it doesn't hurt that she is a peace and pro-choice activist!

On the David Letterman show - "I think the war is wrong. I think it's a mistake and I think we that should get out."

Jane also told Letterman her image as Hanoi Jane is a creation of ideologues to "promulgate their right wing, narrow world view. It really doesn't have anything to do with me and it's kind of sick."

It is sick and it does support their right wing narrow world view.

The biggest problem now is the RW still clinging onto an inflated story. Michelle sure is capable of likinmag whomever she wants. The Vietnam war was a problem, Jane Fonda is entitled to her opinion also. Jane Fonda is a great actress, many of those casting opinions sure has not made the accomplishments she has.
