Barack Obama
Related: About this forumYou and I both knew that there was going to be a bump in the road.
This was looking to be just too smooth and too easy.
So the debate was the first bump, jobs report helped put it back in order.
But its like we have a 16 point lead in the middle of the first quarter and we got Michael Jordan on our team.
He was doing pretty good up until now but now some ass gave him a hard foul that wasn't called and now MJ is pissed and he wants the ball.
Now I know I am kinda in the tank for the President but I remember him going to the House Republican Caucus and a couple of other encounters that got him pissed and I just have to say
I kinda like our chances.

(11,525 posts)I think Romney is going to be over confident in the next debate and the president, well as you said he is going to be a whole different person that what we saw in the first debate. Romney gave him a whole lot of ammo, all those lies, and the Obama team is already using Romney's own words in TV ads to show just how much of a liar he really is. I think the president will also use Romney's own words against him in the next debate.

It strengthens you, and helps you shake out the weaker approaches or attitudes that you have.
When I am in a trial, there are always bumps. They make you focus.
TVOR prediction: 347 EV's for President Obama - folks don't see the NC ground game.

(11,746 posts)We are putting too much into the bumps.
We have good reason to have faith in our candidate and the Obama campaign. I remain confident.

(1,095 posts)And I know exactly what you mean. When he had a bad game, you know that's all he thought about, getting back out there on the court and kicking some ass. I have a feeling the President feels the same.
