Republican Senator Collins likely 'yes' vote to advance tax reform

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Republican Senator Susan Collins, who helped torpedo President Donald Trumps effort to repeal Obamacare, said on Sunday she was leaning towards a yes vote on the Senate budget resolution to advance tax reform.
I am likely a yes on that budget. I very much want to see tax reform, Collins said on ABCs This Week news program.
The Senate is expected to vote on the fiscal 2018 measure this week. The resolution contains a legislative tool that could facilitate adoption of a tax reform bill later this year.

The phrase has no meaning whatsoever. In and of itself.
But we ALL know what republicans mean by that phrase.
fuck the poor and middle class and reward the rich for--- for what? Being rich?
Thanks Susan. Thanks a lot..
Am I missing something here??

(14,140 posts)2. I think this is just a procedural vote
Like everything else, it's unlikely the house and senate will be able to cobble together a passable bill.

(24,324 posts)3. So is she voting 'yes' so it will get a full vote
and then be voted down?
I know no thing about Congressional procedures, as you may have guessed..
