The internet is like the public library times millions. If we allow it to become a for-profit agency of greed, our country will lost out in the global marketplace.
Our children need to have easy access to the internet for their schoolwork. This is important.

(15,805 posts)If they still manage to take it away, the corporate money interests won't stop there. They've already got their greedy fingers into media ownership to squeeze of opposing views. The internet, or its future offspring, will soon replace network broadcasting, and many other communications and information sources. If greed makes it the plaything of the rich, the rest of us will fall even further behind.
