Doug Jones(D-AL) will lose re-election. He gets appointed by President Biden-D to become US Attorney General.
Tom Udall(D-NM) is retiring this year. He gets appointed by President Biden to be Secretary of Interior, a position his father Stewart held during the 1960's.

(138,074 posts)1. I can see Udall @ Interior.
Many others better suited for AG.

Kick back, not do much of anything. Tom is 72 years old (although he looks about 20 years younger, I'll admit), some 30 plus years older than his father was back in 1961.
Surely there is some 40 year old out there who would make an excellent Secretary of the Interior.

Glenn Kirschner should be the next AG. He's one tough SOB on our side.
