On Sat Jun 4, 2016, 11:25 PM an alert was sent on the following post:

Bernie Rally's Are Turning Into A Justin Bieber Concert
http://www.democraticunderground.com/12512126922

REASON FOR ALERT

This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

ALERTER'S COMMENTS

The nastiness of the Clinton supporters is bullying behavior. They need to dial it back. This OP is over-the-top insensitive bordering on a-hole.

JURY RESULTS

You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Sat Jun 4, 2016, 11:30 PM, and the Jury voted 4-3 to HIDE IT.

Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: There is nothing hideable about this. Can't you take a little clean ribbing? For goodness sakes.
Juror #2 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: This post is just flame bait
Juror #3 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Just cut this shit out OK? We already know what kind of a person you are so you really don't have to keep proving it.
Juror #4 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Nasty behavior, when applied daily sort of looses its effect after a while. I hope others take note.
Juror #5 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: It's almost over.
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #7 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: This is a post just designed to rub people's noses in the result of the primaries. Also it's potentially a little creepy as too young to vote is also underage which I really hope isn't the poster's intention.

Thank you very much for participating in our Jury system, and we hope you will be able to participate again in the future.

32. Ive posted on several different sites since 2002
Sun Jun 5, 2016, 12:45 AM
Jun 2016

Regularly since 2004 on a site called Newsvine until conservatives were gang collapsing comments and the site changed the format into echo chambers so we could all preach to the choir in 2011. I left.
Tried HP it but it became a tabloid rag and then they purged commenters and tried to force people to give their true names and to prove it through facebook with real phone numbers.

I actually had started here earlier around 2002 but ended up on another site because I was using a Dell Dimension Pentium III and I couldn't read the posts without hitting "view all" every time and it would s l o w l y loaded the page.

Then I lurked DU now and then because a lot of people on this site had great info. from credible sources and I liked to pass them along.

I couldn't remember my member name or which email I had used here. So I started a new account in April 6 months after double knee replacement. They gave me these super puffy socks, hence the name.

This is now the only place I post as Raw Story , Crooks and Liars and Alternet all succumbed to Bernie bros and Hillary supporters were being thrown off the sites in droves after posting things like " I like Bernie but how is he going to break up the banks?" being swarmed with nasty personal attacks until you stop being so civil and then they run to the moderators to have people thrown off.
I watched around twenty people get cut from RS in just one night. I'd had enough of being censored while Berniebros could post whatever they wished.

And here I am!

My problem now is that its obvious none of these people are going to be civil and it just bothers me to let them have free reign and post the ridiculous blather replete with Hillary and Hillary supporter bashing on a daily basis.

Thanks for your kindness, Cha.
It's really nice to talk with HRC supporters here.

I have liked Hillary ever since she took on Dick Armey back in the mid 90s over health care

I voted for Obama in 2008 only because I thought (lol) that she would be more polarizing than Obama due to the raging hatred the GOP had for the Clintons.
I was totally unaware of the rampant racism that still exists and my eyes were smacked opened during that election.

I can't wait for the GE when this junk is over and we can concentrate on stomping any possible Trump presidency into the dust and inaugurate her presidency come Jan 2017.

I'm back to my normal computer now. Boy, do I appreciate keyboards! Between my fat fingers (didn't get a stylus as advised and probably would have lost it in any event) and automatic spellcheck (I'm still figuring my smartphone out), I sent some pretty weird messages to people.

When a device is smarter than its owner, it is truly scary!

I see from FiveThirtyEight that Hillary is listed with six of seven VI pledged delegates. http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/election-2016/delegate-targets/democrats/

I firmly believe that Puerto Rico will add a significant number to Hillary's total, especially because Bernie's campaign seems to have a feel for foot-in-mouth tactics there. See, e.g., http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/dem-primaries/282237-puerto-rico-democratic-party-denies-wrongdoing-in-primary

538 is behind times.. I sure hope so.. because this is an update on that..

Clinton moves closer to nomination, sweeps in Virgin Islands

The party said Clinton won 84.2 percent of the vote, while Bernie Sanders earned 12.2 percent. Under Democratic National Committee rules, a candidate must win at least 15 percent of the vote to be eligible to receive delegates.

People were excited and overjoyed when Bill Clinton came to visit," said Cecil R. Benjamin, who chairs the party there. He noted that in addition to the seven pledged delegates, all four of the Virgin Islands' superdelegates are now backing Clinton. Superedelegates are party officials who can back any candidate.

"We are the only state or U.S. territory where she got 100 percent of the delegates," he said, citing in part the large voter turnout. "It was great, and we are ready for the national convention
."

Someone was whining about their hidden post, that it shouldn't have been hidden because it was about policy and if you can't discuss policy then DU is just like Free Republic. I look at their transparency page and saw that, as I thought, the post had ended with the usual insults and that's why it was hidden.

That wasn't the amazing thing. Someone in the thread had advised this innocent victim of mean ol' Third Way Free Republic DU that "MLK didn't give up when they tried to block him." NOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo................ I need a snifter of brandy.
