Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumI would like to give a shout out to Skinner & the Admins (I know this is off topic)
But with everything I have endured along with so many others we are so close to the light at the end of the tunnel.
I think the Admins have endured the brunt of the ass holiness and yet DU has survived. I know some Hillary supporters have not been happy (you can include me in that group) but the bottom line is we survived.
DU has been my home away from home for over 10 years and I am still here because I believe in this site.
Please join me in recommending this thread to show your appreciation for the Admins.
P.S. if you still have a bad taste in your mouth for whatever reason I ask you to please refrain from posting it in this thread. Thank you.
Tuesday is going to be a momentous day for us when Hillary breaks that glass ceiling and becomes the Democratic presumptive nominee. Then come November we will be saying Madame President elect Clinton!

This has to have been a grueling and thankless primary for you. I truly hope DU remains as a home for ardent Democrats and supporters for years to come.

(28,290 posts)the depth of insanity. There used to be a rule as to what sources were not welcome on DU. Of course with guys like Sirota and cesspools like The Intercept, TYT it wouldn't have kept the place clean, but at least not 90% manure. No endorsement from me.

(68,385 posts)They've given me fifteen years of hope, friendship, laughs, love, and the occasional scrap over politics, and its ancillary interests.
They held me up when we were all in the depths of despair after the bitter sElection 2000, and the anguish of September 11th, 2001; two wrenching events that signaled the beginning of the 'Lost Decade'.
They were a catalyst for DU-ers who wanted to meet in real life, and find some understanding company in an era seemingly hostile to liberal Democrats.
They were there at the pinnacle of triumph, Election Day 2008, when the stranglehold of white men on the American Presidency was finally broken.
Now, I thank and salute them as we head into another new era of American political leadership, as a woman is about to become the Democratic candidate for President.
To Skinner and the Admins: thank you from the bottom of my liberal heart.
