Does the Hillary Clinton Group disappear after Skinner "calls it" and the new rules are in place?

It was my understanding that GDP will disappear, but it's unclear to me if the HRC group goes away too.

Edit: Thanks for the answers! I'd thought this was just a "temporary" safe place during the primaries.

The Clinton group has been around much longer than the primaries (a big reason for it's large ban list). The Bernie group (which is still relatively new) will also stick around.

will see what happens.

In 2012 we were glad to have the BOG because those with ODS couldn't leave their spew more than once.. just like here with the disruptors we have had.

Hopefully the jury system won't be stacked like it is now with BS supporters.. so we can speak freely within the TOS.

Even with the new rules in place, I'm sure it will take a while before the hard-core Bernie supporters have managed to accept reality. It will also probably take a little while before the jury system has reached a sense of fairness and balance again.

I didn't even think about the possibility that the HRC group might disappear, but I'm glad to hear it won't. It's pretty much the only place I feel comfortable discussing politics.

I know things are supposed to change after the 15th...but I have a feeling I'll still prefer this group.

It will all be an interesting transition to being able to post out of Hill's Group for those of us who only wanted to post in here after the forums got over run with you know what.

We've been fortunate to have it

I keep visiting the O'Malley Group. They are nice folks to hang out with, and I like O'Malley.

587. Our current plan is that once general election season begins...

...there won't be any Hillary or Bernie groups on DU anymore. Once the primary is over, there is no more need for them. We will all be on the same side.

A word about the ongoing Democratic presidential primaries

If he decides to do so, I hope he reopens them after either the election or inauguration. The BO group still served a need after he became president.

may prefer not to deal with the "healthy" and "constructive" criticism that may be permitted after the 16th in the big forums.

Confrontation, especially on line with strangers was never any fun for me.

When/if I sense I can both contribute and find support without being personally demeaned, I may not be in this forum as much. I also don't need to spend time reading posts from people with whom I so drastically disagree. Just no dang fun! We'll see how it shakes out I guess.
