Hillary's "theft" of the California primary

I saw a post yesterday that said that Sanders might be on his way to a "landslide victory" as a result of a recount in CA, and another that speculated on some BS fraud investigation.
I just got around to reading last week's copy of The Economist. Their article, which was published a few days before the CA vote, showed Clinton with a consistent 7-8 point lead. So, I guess the fact that she won by 12 is evidence of fraud

Posted this here so I don't have to listen to (fill in the blank, I could easily name the 5 or 6 that would probably respond) tell me how I just don't get it......

rigged for certain candidates, polls are also rigged, never see the complaints about poll numbers not always favoring a candidate. When they start their theories, I charge it off to CT and go on.

ammunition for their dubious claims from the self-styled Justice Gazette http://justicegazette.org/index.html JG is full of off-the-wall CTs.

Politifact has completely debunked a "landslide victory" for Sanders. http://www.politifact.com/california/statements/2016/jun/10/blog-posting/pants-fire-viral-rumor-bernie-sanders-won-californ/

But some hardcore fans are desperate enough to believe anything that reinforces their beliefs.

The votes in the CA primary are still being counted. But there is no reason whatsoever to believe that there will be anything earth-shaking that will change the overall result. Here are the results as of today so far: http://vote.sos.ca.gov/returns/president/party/democratic/

And this bit from the article is just inducing:

"No one’s questioning the fundamental integrity of the election," Ben Tulchin, Sanders’ national pollster, told PolitiFact California, in an interview on June 10, 2016.

Is that man serious??! If by "no one" he means "2/3 of Bernie Sanders' most desperate, unhinged and web connected supporters" then yeah, he's absolutely right because I'm having a hard time believing that the 37 conspiracy theories I see posted from these people every single, damned day about how each of the primaries -- that Clinton won, of course -- have been "rigged" and all of these "stolen" votes are just figments of my imagination.

(statewide and county) and as of 6:30 pm on June 13, the numbers of votes for BOTH candidates had increased.

But Hillary still has a firm 12 percent lead: 55.5% to 43.5%.

The counting will continue - there is a 30-day canvass period to ensure that all votes are counted. What the CTers seem to miss (among many other things):

- not all uncounted votes are for Democratic candidates
- of those that are for Democratic candidates, they are not all for Bernie; in fact, they appear to be allocated between Hillary and Bernie in much the same percentages as in the overall winning projections from June 7

Those two factors will likely continue throughout the counting process. No one sane doubts Hillary's win in CA. The winning margin could tighten somewhat. But so far, it has not tightened by much.

That was such a momentous day; meeting with the President, then Bernie's little presser outside the White House. Then the President endorsed Hillary ... well, it was a momentous day for me ...

I should've known better, but I expected Bernie to be a conciliatory gentleman after that meeting.

Thinking about that day - maybe that little presser outside the White House was too much for Bernie's psyche. Maybe he felt like he was president outside his White House. Maybe Jane felt First-Ladyish (yuck).

I thought the whole presser was weird. Maybe I'm wrong, but I can't think of anyone other than someone within the WH administration speaking at a White House microphone. Yet there was Bernie & Jane.

Anyway, I still don't get why Bernie said what he said that night. I thought it irresponsible to lead his supporters on that way.

Guess Tuesday's election in DC will help end this. I see Hillary winning it, which then we'll hear how it was rigged.

Edited to add that if Bernie continues to fight & make demsnds, then I want to see those fucking tax documents!

@ first I was bummed because it looked like sanders asked for the meeting with President Obama to use him for his tiresome stump speech in front of the White House..

https://theobamadiary.com/2016/06/12/lovewins/

But then President Obama came out about an hour later and stepped all over it with his brilliant endorsement of Hillary!

And, I was over the !

I didn't expect anything from sanders.. this is all about him. He can still be in the race but his acting like he has a chance to win is running his same ol delusional game.

And, Yes... Where's BS' Taxes?! What's he hiding?
