I'm a Senator Sanders supporter, but it's time for unity (for the record, I agree with Senator Sanders' decision to continue on to the convention - it keeps the debate alive and makes Secretary Clinton a stronger candidate overall).

All of this makes me miss the Bush years for a single reason - we all had a common enemy, and it wasn't each other.

starting with "I'm a Secretary Clinton supporter" this person would be swiftly blocked from the group.

And, no, he should not continue to the convention. His demands are so absurd that I hope the party just laughs at his face. And then he would lose any shred of dignity that he left.

One should know how to concede gracefully the way... Hillary did in 2008.

If someone were to go into the the Senator Sanders group and state, respectfully, that they were a Secretary Clinton supporter, they would not be banned from the group outright, unless they showed disrespect to Senator Sanders and his supporters. As you can see, I came here not to denigrate the Secretary or her supporters, but to embrace them and to be helpful.

If the Secretary Clinton group wants to ban me for just being a Senator Sanders supporter *who has said repeatedly that he will vote for Secretary Clinton in November*, so be it. However, by doing so, the group risks alienating that potential vote for her. I have no idea why anyone would do that to their candidate.

The point of my first post was a respectful reminder to the OP that Skinner extended the deadline for the transition to the GE.

At the end of the day, we're still all on the same side.

Could not have been any more respectful. I first posted that I was blocked on GDP and it was locked for being "meta discussion."
But someone did go and asked... never got a reply.

I haven't been blocked from this group, which I sincerely appreciate, even after I posted something that could be construed as negative about Secretary Clinton a few months ago (I apologized to my friend Cha because I didn't realize I was in this group until they pointed it out).

I hope to be a positive contributor to this group, after the convention and into the GE. Yes, the nomination process is all-but-over, and my candidate has not prevailed. That is not to say I think he should go away just yet. I still believe in his message and his inclusion in the process has only strengthened Secretary Clinton. I am not a dead ender. I'm a pragmatist, and an idealist, both by my core nature (the inner conflict kicks my ass from time to time ).

In 2004, I was a Governor Dean supporter, then a Secretary Kerry supporter. In 2008, I was a Vice President Biden supporter (we're related - his late wife Neilia was my 2nd cousin) and then a President Obama supporter after the Vice President dropped out. Of course, I was a President Obama supporter in 2012. Now, I'm a Senator Sanders supporter and will be until Secretary Clinton officially gets the nomination.

Inter-party politics is not something I feel THAT emotionally bound to. Like I said before, at the end of the day, we all ALL on the SAME side!

(on edit: I have cast 4 votes for President and Secretary Clinton in my lifetime - 2 for the President and 2 for the Secretary - for US Senator of NY. I have never voted against them - I didn't vote in the 2008 primary because of a health issue at the time)

the BS group just because they were Hillary supporters.. there have been reports of BS fans getting blocked in there, too. And, I believe all of them. They could not go in there and say.. I'm a Hillary supporter.. but..

I agree with this, too..

Your post was locked because it mentioned a candidate from the democratic primaries and until the 20th any such thread should be posted in GDP.

The fact that it was locked had nothing to do with any bias by the locking host. It was voted on by the hosts and it was a unanimous decision to lock it. It was a proper lock.
