Some of Her Main Points
Second, Chan Hodges noted that Gabbard has repeatedly criticized and mocked the Obama Administration for not saying were at war with Islamic extremismsomething even Sanders opposes. While I believe that no elected official should be above critique lest we devolve into a cult of personality over substance our district elected President Obama with a 70% majority, and a respectful discussion in an appropriate forum reflects both our district and Hawaiian values, Chan Hodges noted.
Finally, Chan Hodges criticized Gabbard for supporting legislation that would make it more difficult for refugees fleeing the bloody Syrian civil war to get to the U.S. [O]n November 19, 2015, Gabbard voted with 46 Democrats and 242 Republicans to pass HR 4038 the American SAFE Act of 2015, to institute a stronger screening process for refugees from Iraq and Syria who apply for admission to the U.S., Chan Hodges wrote. Previously, in 2014, Gabbard called for visa waivers to be curtailed from European countries with Islamic extremist populations specifically Britain, Germany, and France. (A year later, Donald Trump called for a ban on Muslims entering the US.)

She doesn't seem to have a campaign website up yet. I hope that Emily's List will back her candidacy.
As soon as there is a website up, I'll be sending $$$ her way. Tulsi has GOT to go.
Read this from very liberal Mauitime's GE endorsements in 2012: http://mauitime.com/culture/mauitimes-2012-general-election-candidate-and-amendment-endorsements/
Emily's List was one of Hillary's early endorsers (in 2015). I'll bet they'll be very wary of Tulsi this time around.

We're not the only ones who tulsi gabbard, wolf in sheep's clothing, has upset with all her propaganda.
At least gabbard knows there are those in her District who don't think it's alright the way she's faux "new's" little fauxgressive.
Hortensis
(58,785 posts)she joins the GOP and starts causing trouble over there the better. She's already managed to cozy up in what sounds like a mutually beneficial relationship with Adelson, though, so this opponent may have her work cut out for her. Hopefully the liberal constituents of their district will make Gabbard a bad investment. And, yes, Emily's List obviously did not do its homework.

What an awesome find, HS!
I will work for her!
I emailed gabbard back and said I didn't want to hear from them anymore after she'd been whining about President Obama for months.. and then she endorsed BS.. of course.. the anti-President Obama.
I think she's a jealous war monger.
