http://www.phillymag.com/news/2016/06/21/hillary-clinton-endorsement/The way we see it, there are only two choices in the November election. So we printed a cover for both.
The article takes a lot of potshots at Clinton, which I don't admire or like on its part. But it comes to the correct conclusion.
And in Clinton? Weve got a candidate that some of us just dont like very much.
Yeah, exactly. Theres only one choice in this election, and thats Hillary Clinton for president.
This is the first time the editors of Philadelphia magazine have endorsed a presidential candidate. Weve weighed in before on mayors, but the White House is out of our coverage area. Not this time, though. Not with the Democratic National Convention coming to town, and not with Donald Trump on the ballot.

(15,496 posts)the point, but I really get tired of the MSM memes that Clinton is an "unpopular" candidate, etc. - when she so clearly beat ALL the boys and is head and shoulders above the lot of them put together in qualifications for the job!
But yes, I did like the fact that their first endorsement EVER for a Presidential candidate is for HRC!

(49,036 posts)I think the fact that they did not go into any detail about her scandals is a positive. Either they didn't feel all that strong about them or they acknowledge they are bogus by doing it.
