(7,965 posts)What he can not bring himself to do however is actually endorse her. I am not sure why He recently admitted he will not be the nominee, now says he will vote Hillary, why not go all the way, endorse her and start hitting the campaign trail ?
O'Malley is doing just that. Senator Sanders seriousy miscalculated. Ge has been out of the news since after the DC primary. Has he endorsed Clinton then, he would have been able to stay relevant by campaigning for her. He would have been involved in the gun contril movement, been invited on the networks to comment on it, etc.. In short he would have been able to keep his issues in the limelight while contributing to destroy Trump.

(28,270 posts)I agree with you.
I think its because he plans on going back to being an independent at some point.
A serious miscalculation on his part no doubt.

(5,500 posts)I'm not a big fan of how the Senator has handled the tail end of his campaign but there is no denying that his message found a home. By campaigning for Sec. Clinton hopefully his ardent followers can see there is little difference between his goals and that of the presumptive nominee.
