Title of article: Clinton supporters say 'Bernie Bros' trolling them at DNC

PHILADELPHIA—When they went to pick up their credentials for the Democratic National Convention this week, Victoria Sanchez and Lily Glaser were met by Bernie Sanders supporters.

The two teenagers—Sanchez, 16, of Nashua, New Hampshire, and Glaser, 15, of Rochester, New York—are Hillary Clinton supporters, an unpopular view among the protest groups that have set up camp near FDR Park, just outside the convention hall at Wells Fargo Center.

"There were a lot of people trying to get a rise out of us," Sanchez said. "I am down here and alone. They are yelling at a 16-year-old."

"It's getting exasperating," Glaser agreed. "And inside the convention, the Bernie people had signs and tape over their mouths. You could see their anger."

Throughout the four-day convention, Clinton supporters say they've been met with ridicule and anger from Sanders supporters, who came out by the thousands to protest what they say is a rigged system and a Democratic nominee they can't support. Almost absent from the week, however, is any mention of Republican nominee Donald Trump from either supporters or protesters outside the security zone.

It's bad enough they are bullying people like this woman, but to confront and verbally assault teens?

© Kelly Jordan/USA TODAY NETWORK Rhea Beddoe, a Hillary Clinton supporter from New York City, says she was harassed by Bernie Sanders supporters during the 2016 Democratic National Convention at Wells Fargo Center.

Rhea Beddoe, 34, of New York City, walked out of the convention Monday, saying she had enough of Sanders supporters who started booing Senator Elizabeth Warren as soon as her speech began.

"This is my third convention, and I've never seen anything like this," she said. "The Bernie people are now like Trump people. They are very confrontational."

Beddoe is easily identifiable as a Clinton supporter by her five Hillary pins, a homemade dress with Democratic donkeys on it and fingernails painted red, white and blue.

"The speakers couldn't even say anything without them booing," Beddoe said. "They are really aggressive."

Outside the perimeter, Sanders supporters line the fence. Whenever a Clinton supporter walks by, clad in buttons or pro-Clinton shirts, the crowd roars: "Never Hillary!" and "Bernie! Bernie!" A few delegates chant back, "I'm with her!" as they walk by on the other side of the fence toward the arena....

I wonder how much Trump (or Putin) is paying these people? They can't be genuine Sanders supporters--they don't listen to him.

Shameful bullying and harassment all for what exactly? To violate their constitutional rights?

Disgusting.

choose the Democratic standard bearer.

If other parties want to fund a candidate with a different platform, they should get their ducks in a row and do it. But they shouldn't try to bigfoot their way all over our 'house' just because we're left of the centerline.
