the narrative that the media loves to throw around that "people think Hillary isn't trustworthy". Not that she actually IS untrustworthy...just that people THINK she is. Well, duh... I am old enough and enough of a political junkie to have followed Hillary's career over the years. This "untrustworthy" thing is the result of years of GOP bashing her and continually launching fake "investigations" to take her down. It is so obvious. It saddens me that so few people do their own research but instead latch onto sound bites and propaganda. I honestly don't know how Hillary keeps her positive attitude because a lot of people would have become bitter and just quit trying. Well, enough of my rant....The article said what needs to be said!

It drives me nuts when people use the constant unfounded attacks on her to justify supporting her opponents.

That is essentially saying we should reward the liars and bullies, and once we do that, no one is immune. The Noise Machine can just start flinging poo at whomever they don't want to represent Democrats, and even if it can be proven false, we're told we should avoid that candidate because she's damaged. Do we really want to let the RWNM select our candidates?

How a guy who started his career snorting cocaine in Moscow became somehow who people take seriously is beyond me.

having been head of the CIA and President at one point.

Matt Taibbi's been a joke his whole career. How Rolling Stone saw fit to keep him despite his repeated antisemitic "vampire squid" comments is just insane.

I've never liked Matt Taibbi. His big claim-to-fame is writing an article about Goldman Sachs where he substituted a lot of insults for where his evidence and arguments were supposed to be. He's been riding the Occupy coattails ever since. When he's not mangling his pronunciation through another television interview, that is.

And the fact is that Trevor LaFauci's argument is true of so many who thought the exact same way throughout the primary, and "some" who still do today. When you genuinely dig into the facts of Hillary's background, you find the hard-working progressive that her supporters know. It's only when you are glib, lazy, and intellectually dishonest (The Matt Taibbi Hat Trick, I think is the term for that achievement) that you end up parroting the caricature of Clinton that the GOP has painstakingly crafted since she had the fucking gall to propose universal healthcare back in the 90s. Not progressive enough? Ridiculous.

Nicely put argument--took Taibbi apart politely and thoroughly ... and made an excellent and positive case for Hillary.
