Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumHuge shout out to the Hillary Group. Over 750~ Unblocked.
The hosts were amazing synchronizing this effort. We have eight hosts, five unanimously said hell yes, empty it. Three have not been around for a few days, yet I know they would have 100% agreed that it was the right thing to do.
The Hillary Group, block list? Now zero. It was bold and it was brave, it took courage to empty it all. Yes, our hands wavered over some members, yet we knew that it was the right way to move forward. Our way of thinking, it was all or none.
Why did we do it? That seems to be a question here. We wanted to attempt to end the divisiveness of the past and call for Unity for the future.
You see, we understand the impact of this election, as do you all. We have a lot of work to do to elect Hillary as President and we need to do this as one and not as individual groups at odds. The alternative of not working as one will have devastating results to all of us and future generations. We need every voice heard with your vote.

Offering a hand in friendship rather than a fist of anger. It sets a good example by leading the way.
Nurse Jackie.
We have our candidate, we need to back her and we need to back every down ticket. We need to talk, we need to GOTV 2016.
We are Stronger Together. We always will be.
Please come sit down at the table.

Please remember that we are a group not a forum. There are still rules here. Please respect them.

(42,862 posts)... or who was PETTY and VINDICTIVE. It really says a lot about the CHARACTER of the HRC-Group's hosts that they aren't the type to be SPITEFUL or to HOLD GRUDGES or to keep ENEMIES LISTS.
If that were the case, then our group would be the worse for it, and it would (frankly) be an embarrassment and a stain on our group.
Obviously, there's more work to being a COMPETENT HOST than it may seem. We may not all realize it, but our group's hosts have a RESPONSIBILITY and other DUTIES... they don't volunteer just for for VANITY purposes (only to be able to see one's name "up in lights".)
We don't get to see the tasks and "meetings" that happen in the background. I'm glad to know that OUR hosts WORK TOGETHER and COOPERATE to get things done.
I realize you guys work as a TEAM. Clearly you all understand that teamwork is important. I think it would be absolutely dreadful and that things would really start fall apart around here if we had NEGLECTFUL hosts ("in name only" and all the duties fell to was just ONE PERSON. Something like that would leave us with a de-facto "DICTATOR" so to speak.
I'm very glad that all of our hosts are ACTIVE and REGULARLY participate. It's difficult to imagine what our group would be like if things were left up to one person's WHIMS ... or if our group ended up with a bunch of disinterested hosts who allowed one person to become "King of the Hill" or a "Queen Bee". (That would be an absolutely DISASTER! You guys have shown us that being a good host isn't just some EGO-BOOST or POWER-TRIP, but that it's a job to be taken seriously.)
We're all very fortunate to to have a group of RESPONSIBLE hosts who keep up with the with mundane and tedious work (things like maintenance, organization, and general CLUTTER clearing and TRASH dumping, and assorted duties and tasks of tidying up one of the busier and more active groups here.)
You and the rest of our hosts all help to set the TONE of this place... and to LEAD BY EXAMPLE. I know you guys can't solve everyone's ISSUES. After all, it's a CRAZY and TOXIC world out there, but you guys help to make our little corner of the world a better place.
Thank you very much! You make us all PROUD!

Forty people are left behind. Please do what is right and unblock them all. We did. If you don't it says you are selective and divisive. Please don't do that. Please don't do that.

(49,084 posts)Because I got an email that I was no longer blocked from the Sanders group.
BFD.
On edit: did not mean to rain on the parade. This group has been a great place for support, especially on these pages. I know the hosts there have been very tolerant. At least here we tried to exchange in a dialogue, or politely told the Sanderistas that this was not for them.
I was blocked for... thanking someone, don't remember for what, adding that I was a Hillary supporter.

The big difference, is we unblocked everyone without prejudice they did not.
