I don't think I will ever get over my sheer hated and contempt for people who took down HRC

From those who created and spread fake scandals (email, benghazi) to Russian propaganda, Comey, Jill Stein, Susan Sarandon and a host of other people who maligned a great candidate for no reason.

Some of these people will be doing well in a Trump presidency, by hashtagging everything they do as resistance. they will gain the same fame they had in the bush era, and the alt-left will continue to worship them.

I, however, will never forgive them.

saying Trump would be better, the ones who were saying that both parties were the same, the ones who pushed Jill Stein and Johnson and whoever the fuck else. The ones who slathered over the fake news of Sanders "bruise" at the Democratic primary. Assholes all of them.

In the near future, there will be blood spilt by Mr. American Carnage. A lot of it. And the responsibility will belong to the idiots who propped up a madman and put him in charge of our government. They will have caused untold human suffering and horror.

I agree. My anger toward them knows no bounds.

it's the supposed lefties who talked her down so much who really stick in my craw.

Their short-sightedness in the name of ideological orthodoxy, both in 2000 with Nader, and in 2016 with Sanders, left us with an election result that neither Nader nor Sanders would have endorsed.

I wish they would grow up and realize that this is not a game. Both sides are not just alike.

former Bernie staffers and surrogates. Just reading about the new group - WeWillReplaceYou - or something like that, threatening to primary Democrats who do not sufficiently resist Trump. Now normally I would agree with this thinking to an extent but based on their scorched earth attacks on Hillary, if the challenger fails to beat the incumbent, will they have poisoned the incumbent to the extent that s/he would lose to a Republican? I just can't with this. There are 23 House Repubs up for re-election in districts where Hillary beat Trump - fucking put your efforts towards beating Republicans!

On a lighter note - these students wrote a song based on Hillary's concession remarks and it is wonderful.

I hoped it wouldn't. I hoped the idiotic promises the Clinton haters kept making would come true. They didn't. It turned out exactly the way I worried it would, right down to the final swing state swipe-o-rama made plausible by the endless primary.

It wasn't play-for-play, it wasn't Benghazi .. it was because she was a woman. That was really the most disgusting thing about the election. The Republicans also learned they could dictate the media coverage and did. Wikileaks became a story when all the "revelations" were old, so the campaign found itself going one step forwards, two steps back every time there was a new revelations. (I hope Assange gets extradited, that little twerp.)

But basically, the country was afraid to give the job to a woman. They preferred to give it to a complete jerk.
