(2,577 posts)Seems to me that Ted Nugent regularly uses the "c" word to describe Hillary Clinton, and he gets an invite to the White House. Hmmm .....
Double standards are just so adorable.

(24,348 posts)Every time I hear about the uprise of women in politics...
The new energy among women as a political force...
"Me Too" and misogyny that was there before 2016, but caught fire after the election...
Protests and mobilization for causes in ways sparked by our march on 1/21/2017...
Yet NONE of the talking heads mention HER name unless it's to malign her. She is the standard-bearer among us, the leader of our protests. She is the woman who fought longest and hardest and reached the highest -- first woman nominated by a major party, and first woman to be elected according to the peoples' votes...
WHY does she get swept away as if SHE did something wrong? Why do we keep hearing about the need for Democrats to nominate a candidate who "speaks to the people next time" if that isn't code for a MAN, and/or someone who isn't quite as smart, experienced, tenacious, outspoken or honest about the limitations of government. ("Sorry, I can't promise you the moon." "Listen to her! I am here to promise you Saturn, and she's so beholden to corporate interests she won't even pledge to give you the moon!!!"
SICKENED every day. If there is an organization to champion her -- the unnamed woman whose name is Hillary Rodham Clinton -- please let me know, and I'll join.
