You don't make progress standing on the sidelines, whimpering and complaining. You make progress by implementing ideas. S.Chisholm

Real ? is, where were U 8yrs ago? @johnkerry is the same person+leader he's always been, and I've known. Will blog further later.

If one more person asks me, in response to @johnkerry's kick ass DNC speech, Where was that John Kerry 8yrs ago? I'll scream.

With her spot-on twitter comments about Sen. Kerry, Ayanna speaks for me! So refreshing to hear a fellow MA politician (as that's what she's now become since working for Sen. Kerry) speaking up for Sen. Kerry, in such a clear-voiced, heartfelt way.

It makes me almost want to follow her on Twitter (a medium which I normally scorn).

Did people see Ayanna deliver the MA delegates for Obama at the Dem convention?
I was so proud to see and hear her speak for the MA delegation. There's such a presence about her.
Just a class act all the way. If there's any justice in the world, this woman should go far. (And she's already going places).

when people ask things like "where was this kerry".

he has been the same for decades . look at how impressive he was when he was young and protesting the war.

5. Rachel Maddow

watching Rachel Maddow and they are discussing the Romney campaign and how he can turn it around. they bring up previous elections. Kerry in 2004 is mentioned of a case where he was behind and how the first debate helped him go up in the polls.

Rachel Maddow says the difference is that Kerry was down before the debate because of the attacks on him from the other side. and all of the rOmney crap going on now is due to romney himself.

i was glad to hear this. there have and there probably will be comparisons to Kerry 2004 with Romney. but it is important for people to know that it wasn't the obama campaign attacking romney the way they did to kerry with lies. i hate when people try to say romney is being swiftboated the way kerry was.

that Romney could do as much with the debates as Kerry did.

One thing that I have not heard them say is that only in his convention and the debates were people able to see Kerry unfiltered - and both times they liked what they saw. (Gallup had two polls - when asked if the convention made them more likely to vote for Kerry, he got strong numbers. The campaign bounce was computed including the faux terrorism alert that was done the morning after Kerry's convention. So faux, that the targeted site was used by Laura for a fund raiser. )
