(45,570 posts)He continues to be a friend to McCain. And to repay that debt, McCain just stabs Kerry in the back time and time again.

(10,117 posts)...finished speaking. They stabbed Kerry and Obama in the back for their own political purposes. They then raised their 'concern' that there will be another terrorist attack because of these policies, ginning up fear.
I am convinced that they are preparing a foundation for a Republican president to do their bidding. Grrrr ...
Just UGGH.
Just comparing the reaction of McCain and Kerry to their respective presidential campaign disappointments.
Kerry goes back to an honorable Senate career, and then onward and upward to his spectacular service as Secretary of State.
McCain wallows in bitterness and nastiness and stabs honorable colleagues in the back, dishonorably.
Only one of these has any class.
As for the other one: GRRRR.

(10,117 posts)...both. Graham and McCain have none. I used to try to respect McCain for his service and sacrifice. That is becoming increasingly difficult to do.
This display today was WAY over the top. It completely seeks to undermine what our Secretary of State is trying to do. How is that patriotic? When Bush and later McCain ran for President, they constantly wrapped themselves in the flag and accused anyone who disagreed with them as 'cut and run' unpatriotic people. Can they not see themselves clearly at all?
