(9,688 posts)Wonderful!
Mostly, he looks so happy and fulfilled. What a joy to see.
I do recognize several of his lines from earlier speeches (among others, he's previously called other diverse (student?) groups someone else's (does anyone else remember?) "worst nightmare" , but they are good lines, and I was glad to hear them again.
But, again, the happiness and the ease. Just a delight.
FYI, Northeastern Aoun seems to be doing a genuinely good job.

(59,944 posts)the media reports concentrated on three things - that statement, the reference to carnival barkers , and the comment about the Red Soxs and Yankees.
Is it any wonder that people read on a media that looks just for things like that, that the Republicans have a nominee who is best known from a reality TV show?
MBS
(9,688 posts)It works against politicians who speak in paragraphs and have actual ideas.

(10,117 posts)...and again today on CSpan2. I'm so glad it is being played to a wider audience. I think I may order a copy to show my grandchildren when they get a little older. It's inspirational, but also challenges the next generations to take responsibility for their collective future.
