I posted that pic. I wanted to illustrate just how completely awesome Joe Biden is in one picture. I knew that it was going to be from the 2012 VEEP Debate, that it was going to be with Biden laughing (or at least grinning), that it would have Ryan in the frame, and hopefully Martha, as well.

It took a while to find it, but this one is pretty much is an exemplar of "a picture is worth more than a thousand words". And it literally turned around the 2012 election for the Democrats after Barack Obama's poor performance on his first debate. Not that he wouldn't have done it anyway, but Joe certainly helped the cause significantly. Few were talking about how poor Obama did after this glorious victory by VEEP Biden. All Obama had to do then was to not repeat his performance in the first debate.

This was a turning point in the campaign.

as soon as I saw that picture, I burst out giggling. His debate really did reenergize so many of us/dems after POTUS' too minimalized first debate. It was a *good* night.
