Does anyone have advice on a vacuum you love?

I live in a tiny apt with two cats so it has to suck up animal hair like nobody's business. Smaller is better. And it can't be cordless as there is no pantry or garage where I can keep it hidden and charging all the time.

Canister vac. Cleans like magic. Everyone should have one. Great for everything.

2. I highly recommend a Dyson vacuum.

For anyone with hair issues, allergies, asthma, etc., Dyson is the way to go. The DC50 Animal and the DC65 Animal are their current models. Yes, they are expensive, however, it is worth it. They are long-lasting, actually deal with pet hair, and live up to the hype. We have one for over 15 years now, and it is still working wonderfully.

7. I've been wondering about Sharks.

They are the self proclaimed best rated vacuum on the internet, but I have my doubts about whether an "as sold on TV" discount brand can compete with the Dyson and win, as they claim to. But thanks for posting that. Gives me more to consider.
