To get all info on this company and how it treated its passengers, this you must read the entire article.
Towards the end of an awful 2 week trip... caused by the company, it was obvious that refunds on the trip needed to be made. The company refused, and offered a reduced fare on passengers next voyage. The company needs to be bankrupted and this story needs to be seen by every potential customer. Then, there will be no potential customers.. The 2nd link below, offers more pictures..(from Newsweek)
Please notice these two lines from the Newsweek link: Passengers also noted how the workers on the ship wore protective masks and clothing, which was not provided to the passengers.

(54,117 posts)i wonder if they do that for everybody, or maybe for every first-time customer, to encourage them to become regulars.
as a matter of fact, mrs. unblock and i did a cruise as part of our honeymoon, i think it was royal caribbean. i think they did offer us something similar for a second cruise, apropos of nothing.
in any event, it certainly sounds much more like a promotion than an apology.

(38,726 posts)really acted this way, it is as if idiots were running the show. You don't treat customers like this...and not refund the fare..ever. No business that is successful operates this way. Like I said, I almost cannot believe this is real. If it is, ..this is real, real stupid of this company..

(5,593 posts)But since the advent of the mega ships, we don't. Ships too big, too many passengers and overworked crews, cruising is unpleasant and not worth the expense. NCL used to be great, but no more. Hope they get reimbursed.
