Thankfully this isn't something I've had to deal with, or even really contemplate yet - my parents are only in their late 50's - but I know I will have to someday unless, God forbid, they outlive me.

I read an interview somewhere with Sting about this song; that he hired "the best drummer in nashville", and he was never able to get the timing right during the off-tempo parts of the song and could only keep up during the chorus.
