I want to ban the word sensitive for boys and men.

Silly? Well tell me this: Why is it that when a boy or man shows human empathy, he is called a "sensitive boy/man".

Do you ever hear girls being called "sensitive" if they display that level of humanity? No, it is just assumed to be normal.

So my solution? Ban the word. That will solve the problem.

Being sensitive to others' feelings and needs? (Nearly) always a good thing.

Being sensitive to any criticism or perceived slight? Generally not good.

But otherwise I agree with your main point. Empathy/sympathy should be expected of any decent human.
