Deere said it has developed a fully autonomous tractor designed for large-scale farming and that it plans to sell the machine later this year.

BTW, for tasks involving other farm workers a manned machine cannot be replaced. So someone will still have to drive it if it's towing certain harvesters.

6. I have very steep slopes

That thing would roll over with or without a driver.

What I want to see is a driverless remote control bush hog. Now I would pay a pretty penny for that. There are driverless mowers that can do very steep slopes. Saw one at the VA in operation. Very cool.

And I have a guy with one of those zero turn radius bush hogs that will do my milder slopes. But he can't do all my slopes because of my steep inclines and he costs too much.
