From the half gallon of ice cream that's now a quart and a half to the parially filled containers of this and that (and no, I'm not talking about how chips settle in the bag) to toilet paper that leaves almost an inch on either side of the spindle, inflation has been hitting us hard for the last few decades. Corporations just thought we were too stupid to notice

It doesn't fool the CPI survey takers. But some people think they just pick up, for example, a medium can of XYZ coffee, look at the price, and that's it.
