1. Treasury bond yields - 5 year, 10 year, 30 years

Both graphs are of the 5 year, 10 year, and 30 year bonds.

What "short-term" means is the period from June 2020 to present

Notice how the yields of the 3 bonds have converged.

while "long-term" means is the period October 1993 to present

Great one for seeing the secular drop in interest rates since 1993 (which started in 1982 or thereabouts)

All 3 graphs -- including the medium term one which covers June 2016 to present -- from here:

2. Speculation is being drained from the market

My speculative plays, which is to say most of them, are in a downtrend. They just don't trend upward more than a day here or there. Risk-off can take hold slowly. It's the Fed and their rate hikes, and inflation. A lot of uncertainty on pricing power with inflation. Some companies do well, others - discretionary goods - not so much. Witness NFLX earlier this week.
