Nintendo faces labor complaint from Washington-based employee

A Washington state-based Nintendo employee is accusing the gaming company of acts that are consistent with anti-organizing tactics, according to an April 15 filing with the National Labor Relations Board.

The complaint, filed anonymously in Washington, alleged Redmond-based Nintendo of America and one of its recruiting firms, Aston Carter, engaged in "coercive actions," "coercive statements," "discharge," and "concerted activities." Examples given for these allegations include surveillance, threats, refusals to hire and retaliation.

Nintendo did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Axios first reported on the filing.
